Everyone knows how it's difficult for
the disabled to move around this world without meeting with
different problems. Unfortunately, we regret to admit that
almost nothing has been done in order to help these people
in their everyday life. But fortunately, some inventors are
very sensitive and understand their trouble. One of these
inventors is Amedeo Sebastiani, just 7 years old, but with
such a sensitivity and technical expertise to make even the
most experienced adult envious. His idea is indeed very simple
but brilliant at once. Since some shelves in supermarkets,
big shops, etc. are too high for those people, who are not
over 1 metre, he has raised the same people of the missing
centimetres by means of special patented boots, so as to allow
the disabled to reach the necessary height without big problems,
once the shoes are extended. As a matter of fact, these special
boots, thanks to a very ingenious mechanism, open and close
very easily, so allowing the persons using them to easily
open and close them whenever they need. In this way, their
users are always at ease. This ingenious mechanism is composed
by four steel rods, hinged on their centre, which jointly
run over some guides placed inside the sole and into the lower
part of the boot, where two regulators, set to block the rods
inside the guides, are placed as well, so preventing the rods
from moving accidentally. In practice, whenever you want to
activate the extendable soles, you have only to lift a shoe
and release the guides, so that the heel goes down, for the
law of gravity; then you have to block the guides at the necessary
height and, once you laid your foot down on the ground, repeat
the same procedure with the other boot. In just one moment
you'll be at the desired height. The regulators have also
the aim, once the mechanism is folded up, to hold the sole
firm. So, if you are interested in this simple and at once
ingenious invention and wish to receive further information,
contact us at our telephone numbers indicated at the end of
the page or you can write us using the appropriate ELECTRONIC
FORM. The inventor, helped by some technicians, is preparing
handmade prototypes in order to show them to potential customers
or interested persons who could so test the outstanding performance
of this extraordinary patent. We remind readers that all the
published prototypes in this site are patented. Any partial
or total plagiarism of the objects reproduced in the pictures
or in the drawings will be persecuted in accordance with Italian
Law and in all the foreign countries. All the texts are instead
